Jackson "Jax" Duncan
Owner · Founder
Jax spent a stretch of his twenties living in Gimmelwald, Switzerland— a tiny mountain town of about 80 people — where he met his wife from Kentucky. The Alps ruined him for flat country and set the bar for the kind of mountain town he'd want to raise a family in.
From there he crossed the Atlantic to guide dogsled tours in Banff, Canada — long winters, hard weather, and a team of huskies who didn't care about excuses. It's where he learned that in a cold climate, the people doing the work are the only thing that actually matters.
He settled in Colorado Springs to build the kind of roofing company he'd want knocking on his own door: owner-operated, Midwest hospitality, no storm-chaser playbook. As Jax puts it:
"Your roof is your home's number-one defense against the elements. Don't settle for inexperienced salespeople who overpromise and underdeliver."

Founded to fix a frustration every Colorado homeowner knows.
After every Front Range hailstorm, the streets fill up with out-of-state contractors knocking doors. They write a cheap proposal, take the insurance check, and vanish before the first leak.
Jax was built to be the opposite — a Colorado Springs contractor with a local office, a crew that lives here, and a phone number that still picks up five winters later.
